Top Dance Company Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie is Coming to Chatham-Kent!

Coleman Lemieux Modern Dance
Let’s face it. Modern dance can be a little unapproachable. Some people will not attend a modern dance show because they are afraid to try something new.
Theatre Manager Lesley Grand is so convinced that you will like modern dance as performed by Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie that she is reducing the price per ticket to $20 for adults, and $10 for children.
The Globe and Mail says that the piece entitled Fifteen Heterosexual Duets by Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie is “a work of great ingenuity and charm, a plotless comedy that touches on the sublime”. It won a Dora Mavor Moore Award and explores “amorous emotion from passion to tenderness to humor” (Times Argus).
“A maelstrom of anguish, grief, and acceptance”, says the New York Times about one of the pieces in the performance, called In Paradisum. Soar to the heavens with the breathtaking dancers. Let yourself be swept up in the swirling, hypnotic work, which is a masterpiece of emotional power and technical brilliance.
What will you say? Take advantage of this special price and try something new. Be entertained and broaden your cultural horizons at the same time. Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie will be at the Kiwanis Theatre on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 8pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and only $10 for children. To reserve your seat, come in to 75 William Street North, call 519-354-8338, or log on to www.cktickets.com.
