VISUAL JOURNALLING IS BACK!
A Creative Life by Jen Merritt
Chatham-Kent is not short on artistic opportunities, but I have a secret: I’m dying to get my hands into some expressive arts! I love all the classes and events that we have available here – opportunities to enhance my enhance my appreciation and understanding of different art forms; but as an Expressive Arts student, enthusiast, and sometimes practitioner, I want more. I need people to teach, and people to follow. I want to go deeper!
That’s why I was excited to receive an update from the Thames Art Gallery announcing another round of Visual Journalling. I took the one-day workshop last year and loved it. I mean LOVED it! It brought me right back to my days in class in Haliburton. The instructor, Phyllis, was an absolute joy, and I am hoping this time around she continues push me towards my growing edge.
